What TRIVALLEY Businesses Are Doing to Fight the Coronavirus

(PRWEB) Pleasanton CA – Tri-Valley companies are flattening the curve and fighting the pandemic that is affecting us all on a global scale.

#TRIVALLEYtogether highlights some of the region’s most immediate needs and calls on the broad business community and public to take action. With increased global shortages of supplies, Tri-Valley health care providers and educators are gratefully accepting donations of needed supplies from the community. CLICK HERE for more information.

“It’s great to see the Tri-Valley leverage its awesome power as an innovation hub, as well as its leadership and generosity, to help our communities weather this terrible storm,” Congressman Eric Swalwell said. “We are stronger together than apart, and together we will get through this.”

The Tri-Valley’s technology assets are the engine for the region’s economic strength. Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, Sandia National Laboratories, several regional hospitals and dozens of life science companies like Roche Molecular Solutions and DeltaTrak are generating innovations to battle the virus every day.

#TRIVALLEYtogether targets 3 sectors that need our support right away,” said Steve Lanza, Vice President of Lam Research and Chair of Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group (ITV). “With so many in need, we are hopeful everyone can find a way to contribute.  We are calling on our innovative community of thinkers and doers in the Tri-Valley to step up right now to make a huge impact together. Given the diversity of need, we are encouraging those who can to find a path to help.” ITV welcomes businesses all across the San Francisco East Bay region to join this effort using innovation, empathy and connectivity to build regional resiliency.

#TRIVALLEYtogether invites donations of technology to support online learning, medical supplies to TRIVALLEY Hospitals and medical centers, and cash to support the region’s most vulnerable homeless population. CLICK HERE for more information.
