DESCRIPTION:Last year\, Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group launched its Diversity\, Equity & Inclusion Council led by some of the top strategists in the region. The Council’s objective is to infuse the Tri-Valley with best practices in DEI\, inspiring innovative new approaches and meaningful change to take hold in the region. \nLEADING THE DEI CHARGE TO DRIVE IMPACT IN YOUR ORGANIZATION \nFEBRUARY 15TH\, 2023 FROM 9AM – 10:30AM \nDesigned for organizational leaders at every level\, the HYBRID event will provide attendees with actionable takeaways and DEI best practices from some of the corporate sector’s most successful leaders. \nFeatured keynote speakers are Dr. Dyrell Foster\, President\, Las Positas College and Co-Chair of ITV’s DEI Council\, Pleasanton-based Workday’s Chief Diversity Officer\, Carin Taylor and Executive Leadership Consultant and transformational leader Larissa Robideaux. For the past two decades\, Taylor has driven top Bay Area companies’ DEI strategies and will share takeaways from her current role at Workday.  Robideaux recently served as CEO of the Center for Excellence in Nonprofits. She is highly regarded for her 20-plus years in non-profit leadership and will talk about her experience leading an organization through an intentional anti-racist transformation. \nWho should attend: Since CEOs consistently face the challenge of leveraging organizational culture and people strategies to drive results\, executives across the board should care about diversity\, equity\, and inclusion. We live in a world where anti-racist leadership isn’t just an option but a necessity for a thriving business\, anyone leading the growth of an organization should attend this workshop. \nWhat you’ll learn: How DEI investments impacted two local companies.
