LEADING THE DEI CHARGE TO DRIVE IMPACT IN YOUR ORGANIZATION

FEBRUARY 15TH, 2023 FROM 9AM – 10:30AM

Designed for organizational leaders at every level, the HYBRID event will provide attendees with actionable takeaways and DEI best practices from some of the corporate sector’s most successful leaders.

Featured keynote speakers are Dr. Dyrell Foster, President, Las Positas College and Co-Chair of ITV’s DEI Council, Pleasanton-based Workday’s Chief Diversity Officer, Carin Taylor and Executive Leadership Consultant and transformational leader Larissa Robideaux. For the past two decades, Taylor has driven top Bay Area companies’ DEI strategies and will share takeaways from her current role at Workday.  Robideaux recently served as CEO of the Center for Excellence in Nonprofits. She is highly regarded for her 20-plus years in non-profit leadership and will talk about her experience leading an organization through an intentional anti-racist transformation.

Who should attend: Since CEOs consistently face the challenge of leveraging organizational culture and people strategies to drive results, executives across the board should care about diversity, equity, and inclusion. We live in a world where anti-racist leadership isn’t just an option but a necessity for a thriving business, anyone leading the growth of an organization should attend this workshop.

What you’ll learn: How DEI investments impacted two local companies. Tools and best practices for success from other Bay Area companies.

How to participate in this HYBRID event:  This event will be held LIVE and in-person at Las Positas College with the option to participate virtually via Zoom. Zoom links will be sent to our guests participating virtually, prior to the event.

Location: Thank you to the Las Positas College community for welcoming us to their campus. The event will be held in Building 1000, Room 1101.

Participation Fee: The ‘Leading the DEI Charge’ Workshop  is underwritten by Innovation Tri-Valley Leadership Group
